Dear Josh,

I am greatly moved by your desire to seek my opinion in regards to becoming a missionary. If I have any wisdom to impart to you it is only because my own life has gone shipwreck so many times that that I have discovered some of life’s hidden undercurrents and sunken reefs. If not for our Lord’s grace and never ending mercy, I would not have survived to continue the journey He has planned for my life.
