How it works

The Marriage in Christ seminar is about fostering friendship with God and with our spouse, in and through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

The format of the Marriage in Christ seminar will get you started with making changes a little at a time. You will learn about tools to keep your relationship moving in the right direction well beyond the end of the seminar.

The seminar covers these topics:

Week 1: God first, our spouse second

Week 2: Love, sin, forgiveness and hope

Week 3: The role of the Holy Spirit in marriage

Week 4: Love and friendship

Week 5: Ordinary life in Christ

You will learn to:

Make the Lord the center of your married life.

Practice habits of love that deepen your love and strengthen your marriage and friendship.

Start to recognize the action of the Holy Spirit in your marriage.

See how your marriage can be a witness of God's love to the world.

Weekly session:

Watch a 20-minute video presenting each week's topic.

Have a short discussion in men's and women's groupings and as a couple with questions to guide the conversation.

All seminar materials are downloadable in the At Home online seminar. Bound, hard copies are provided in the in person seminar as part of the seminar fee. Seminar manuals can be purchased.
