The Marriage in Christ seminar is about fostering friendship with God and with our spouse, in and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The format of the Marriage in Christ At Home Seminar will get you started with making changes a little at a time. You will learn about tools to keep your relationship moving in the right direction well beyond the end of the seminar.
You will learn to:
- Make the Lord the center of your married life.
- Practice habits of love that deepen your love and strengthen your marriage and friendship.
- Start to recognize the action of the Holy Spirit in your marriage.
- See how your marriage can be a witness of God's love to the world.
The At Home seminar:
Weekly session
- Watch a 20-minute video presenting each week's topic.
- Have a short discussion as a couple with questions to guide the conversation.
- All seminar materials are downloadable. Bound, hard copies can be purchased.
Daily activities
The time that you spend with your spouse at home every day is the real heart of the Marriage in Christ At Home Seminar. The easy-to-use activity packet will guide you each day to:
The Marriage in Christ seminar can also be used by groups to hold an in-person seminar.
Weekly session
- Watch a 20-minute video presenting each week's topic.
- Break out into groups of 4-5. Women will meet with other women and men with other men for a short (20-minute) discussion of the topic presented.
- Have a 20 minute discussion as a married couple.
- Come back to the group to answer questions and prepare for the next week's topic.
- Enjoy a short time of fellowship as you get to know the other couples in the seminar.
- As a couple, receive two bound seminar manuals.
